Post-Punk from Lawrenceville, GA — Debut Album Tightrope Out July 18, 2026
TWNTY O5 is a Black post-punk artist from Lawrenceville, Georgia making taut, danceable guitar rock for fans of Interpol, Bloc Party, and The Pixies — with the swagger of Kings of Leon and the disorientation of The Pixies. Rooted in the lineage of the Black Rock Coalition and artists like TV on the Radio and Bloc Party, TWNTY O5 brings a sound that is at once familiar and genuinely underrepresented in the American South. Debut album Tightrope drops July 18, 2026 — available on all platforms.
Tightrope wasn't supposed to exist. After more than two decades living with suicidal ideation, the loss of both parents, the loss of a son, and a corporate burnout that left little room for the music that had always kept him alive, TWNTY O5 made a decision — to stay, and to make the album. Written and recorded in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Tightrope is the document of that decision. Each song maps a different terrain of survival — the tightrope between an instant end and a slow inevitable one, the quicksand of depression, the desert of isolation, and the moment when you finally choose yourself. It is post-punk the way post-punk was always meant to be used — as a vehicle for what can't be said any other way.
TWNTY O5 is currently in active release mode with Tightrope — performing across Atlanta, building a presence on TikTok and Instagram at @twntyo5band, and pitching for college radio and editorial playlist placement across Spotify and Apple Music. The debut music video for "Tightrope" is available now on YouTube. For booking, press inquiries, or to follow the journey, reach out below — or stream Tightrope everywhere music lives.
